Dr R. K. Mathews Practice is a forward-thinking and innovative provider of primary care services.

We are based in Grimsby, which is a large town and seaport situated on the south bank of the Humber estuary close to where it reaches the North Sea.

We are part of a limited company called 360. As the structure of primary care changed and commissioning groups dispersed, it was decided we would continue working with the practices in our commissioning group which resulted in us forming a limited company to work collaboratively.

The company comprises of six practices over the Grimsby and Immingham area and equates to a list size of over 40,000 patients.

With heightening pressures and demands on general practice, working together has helped to ease the stress and pressure. We work collaboratively on projects and have a variety of experienced staff that specialise in different areas.

We continue to look at new services we can provide and ways to work together. For example, we have recently started providing an ultrasound service for the patients of North East Lincolnshire which has been very successful.

Mission and vision

The practice's mission is to provide a first class primary care service to the people of Grimsby and the surrounding area. It will seek to innovate in its use of resources, both human and technical, in order to maintain its delivery of a high quality service during a period of rising patient demand and changing financial circumstances.
